Carbon underfloor heating is also cost effective to install and run making it ideal for you conservatory floor heating with a laminate or wood floor. Carbon heating can be cut to size easily. Carbon film is an option for the DIYer however when it comes to conservatory heating the flat ribbon is the choice of professionals. We would always recommend 2 layers of insulation in a conseratory to compensate for any losses through the glass. Conservatory underfloor heating with Tiles, slate, Stone Flat ribbon underfloor heating is very versitile and can also be used under tiles slate and stone again making it the ideal choice for conservatory heating. Flexible Mat cable underfloor heating is suitable for use with ceramic, slate and stone. The Flexible Mat for conservatory heating is aimed more towards the DIY market using cut and turn technology. The flex-mat is not as energy efficient as the flat ribbon but can still offer savings compared to other forms of heating.
