Underfloor Heating Insulation
When installing underfloor heating it is important to use insulation to ensure all the heat is transfered upwards through the flooring product and no heat is lost downwards.
At the same time as making sure the heat is going up the insulation will ensure the cold from the sub floor does not enter the room.
The insulation used by Allbrite boasts a high compressive strength combined with high thermal properties giving high efficiency at low cost.
The Allbrite range of insulation is specially manufactured for use with underfloor heating no matter what the floor covering.
Allbrite have two types of insulation
Therm-All Insulation
A soft underfloor heating insulation that is 6mm in depth which has accoustic and thermal properties which will reduce the impact noise by up to 21db and will decrease warmup times dramatically. Therm-All is used with ribbon underfloor heating under floating floors such as laminate, engineered board and carpet. (Click for more info)
Easy-Heat Insulation
A rigid underfloor heating insulation that is available in many different depths from 10mm through to 50mm. Easy-Heat insulation has a high compressive strength of 30 tonn per 1 metre square. Easy-Heat is used with underfloor heating and stuck down floors such as tiles, slate, stome etc. (Click for more info)
